Orion Nebula – M42
Notes:
This is the Orion Nebula (M42) in the constellation Orion. The nebula is about 1,600 light years distant. This nebula is very bright, and can be seen by the naked eye. The blue nebula on the left is a reflection nebula, comprised of NGC 1973, NGC1975, and NGC1977 – also known as the Running Man Nebula.
